Can we say there are no easy answers,
To the difficulty of bloated bodies on the news,
To the associations caused by gassing
Men, women, and children en mass?
Too many times we do nothing,
The killing goes on and on.
That phrase about good men doing nothing
Allowing evil to win,
Does that apply here?
If all men are brothers,
The world would surely be weeping,
It would weep and never stop.
Another great flood
Would be unnecessary.
