Winter Is Coming

Winter is coming.

It may not mean ice zombies from over the wall,

But still,

It is hard on carpenters,

As carpentry is somewhat seasonal,

So the income suffers,

Not to mention working outside.

Trudging around in the snow is a pain.

There’s the cumbersome coats,

And snot freezing on your lip,

Or breath on your mustache and beard.

And, have you ever tapped you fingers

With a hammer in the cold?

If you have, you might be tempted to think

That’s the worst of carpentry in the winter,

But worse than that

Is no carpentry in the winter.

So hire a carpenter for the holidays

And help take away a little of the bite.
