A small word with so much in it today
That is indecipherable,
So much one cannot say
About the impossibility of comfort
Or explanation.
Words are never adequate.
They are imprecise symbols
For the much more complex intricacies of emotion and being.
Still, I think, it is important to express
Some form of standing together,
Or if not that,
Some form of presence,
Understanding it may not help at all.
